safe pain relievers and liver disease

I have allot of other pain problems, but understand I should not take Tylenol or other pain relievers that contain the same ingredients. What can I take?

Re: safe pain relievers and liver disease

From all the info that i've gathered I think that you can virtually take anything IN SMALL AMOUNTS, large amounts are what causes the major issues. It looks like all pain relievers have liver issues, but yeah Tylenol seems to be at the top of the scale. I've read that Tylenol with caffeine is especially bad as I can actually cause your liver to shut down. Ibuprofen is better but it can cause a lot of stomach upset and in large quantities also affects your liver in some specific way that I am forgetting right now. I hope this helps!
