Raised liver enzymes

Pls help. I am a 36 yr male and like to think of myself as healthy. My recent blood tests show Total Bilirubin levels of 1.50 mg/dl, Direct Bilirubin levels of 1.00 mg/dl, Indirect Bilirubin levels 0.50 mg/dl and Serum SGPT of 34 I.U./lit. Am i suffering from liver disease? I used to drink moderately but have stopped completly since the last 2 months. I am worried please help...

Re: Raised liver enzymes

From what I read on the internet liver enzymes can go up for a whole lot of reasons. If your taking antibiotics they can go up, etc, etc. Mine have gone up because I have no gallbladder and I might still have a fatty liver. Just don't panic and read information on the internet.
