Question Low density area on CT scan??? Please help.

Hi everyone. I have a quick question that I was hoping you could help me with. I had a CT scan about 1.5 years ago (with contrast) to help evaluate kidney stones. I was looking over the report the other day and I noticed that is stated that I have "a low density area in the liver near the pancreas". The radiologist recommended follow-up CT with contrast. But, my doctor NEVER even mentioned this to me!!! I just noticed it now, becasue I stuck the report in a file and forgot about it until now. Should I call my doc or just let it go? Are these findings pretty typical???

personally, I would follow it up. Don't you just love it when doctors don't even tell you? I now ALWAYS ask for copies of the report as well as any lab work I have done. That way, I know what is going on, I can look it up on the internet, post questions here and have my own files in case something happens.
