If your grandmother is not on hospice, it sounds like she should be. Is she still living at home or at a nursing facility? Regardless, someone should be monitoring her level of pain, and making sure that the remaining quality of her life is not compromised.
The one thing about impending death is that nobody knows for sure exactly when this will occur; however, once the patient becomes unresponsive and in a semi-comatose state, it usually is a matter of days/weeks.
I am truly sorry what you are going through.
