"Large mass in liver" ultrasound result
I am a 48-year-old female with two sons and no history of health problems. I started having pain in my upper right abdomen through to my right shoulderblade, which generally means gallstones. I went for an ultrasound that didn't find anything in my gallbladder but did find a large mass in my liver. I'm terrified. I had a physical including blood work in late July that was completely normal. Can anyone give me any ideas?

I am 46 mother of 2 girls and the same thing happened to me this week, went in expecting to loose my gall bladder and now nothing is wrong with it. There is a mass in my liver, I am allergic to the dye in the ct scan so we are waiting for my insurance to ok a MRI,,,, I am scared crapless too!!!! the pain is still in my side, the ultrasound TODAY told them all of this. So I am praying for you to be ok.
