High Enzymes and gallstones in gallbladder

Hi, my time on here so here goes.

10 days ago on sunday I woke up vomiting and put it down to a bug. I put up with the awfull feeling til Wednesday when my urine was extremely dark, almost blood like. I attended my hospital where they done some tests and found my liver enzymes were high an my eyes were yellow so had mild jaundice.

They admitted me that day an I had a ultrasound done. There they found my gallbladder full of stones but couldnt get a good view of the bile duct to see if a stone was stuck.

I ad more bloods done to test the liver function but they are still not
Back yet.

I am still feeling sick all the time, my appetite has gone, my urine is still dark and my stools are grey.

Is all these likely to still be a gallstone stuck in bile duct or something else is the problem.

The GOOD news is that if you were admitted to the hospital with jaundice I am sure they did a battery of tests and CT scan etc. I would think they would shave caught anything really series.
I dont understand when you say blood tests aren't back yet. In the hospital blood tests are back in an hour especially with a potentially life threatening condition.
If they sent you home it can't be as bad as your alluding to

Re: High Enzymes and gallstones in gallbladder

Had initial bloods done where they found the high enzymes.

Now I am waiting on liver function tests an they not here again today. Today being the 6th day since they sent them.

There is bilburin in my blood but none appear to be in my feces. This makes me think there's a block somewhere.
