Pain Relief that wont affect the liver
Condition - Frozen shoulder
Problem - Liver intollerance to pain relief
Pain - about that of a small fracture


First time frozen shoulder tried Tramadol Panadine Forte but left LFT right out.

What if any pain relief is not metabolised by the Liver

I read one place that Advil is not metabolised by the liver and in another that it is.

I was just at the scleroderma clinic and asked the doc there what I can use for pain (over the counter) that would not affect the liver as I have fatty liver. She told me to use Alleve. It goes through the kidneys she said and has little effect on the liver.
