| New diagnosis of cirrhosis
Hello all,
Looking for information. My mom got diagnosed with cirrhosis yesterday. She does not consume any alcohol. She had a kidney-pancreas transplant 11 years ago. I can't think of any direct cause...medications? She has never had a blood transfusion. I assumed they test for diseases when they transplant organs....
Anyways, she has it. She still needs to find a gastroenterologist. I have no idea how bad it is yet. I'm am wondering how long she has. I worry about her kidneys and pancreas...they all could fail....
