I find that at times my liver hurts enough to hurt right through to my back. If I lean over the wrong way my 'friend' gets stuck under and between the floating ribs and is ouch.
I have another triple phase CT scan later this week or next and see the specialist on the 7th September. He says he has never seen such a large FNH in his whole career but is reluctant to do anything about it unless it grows... so I am wondering does the pain I get every now and again mean that it is growing?

Anyone else have a FNH with pain every now and again?

What is FHN pain and how are you doing?

I have FNH roughly 10 x 9 x 6cm. They've told me its not growing so they wont do anything about it.

But yes I get pain. It comes and goes, sometimes very sharp and painful others just a dull ache, can always feel it though, its very uncomfortable. The pain is just under my ribs on both sides (as thats where my lump sits).

My doctor has put me on a pain killers, a type of morphine I think it is. Makes me dizzy though but it does stop the pain but its hard to tell when Ill need to take it as the pain comes and goes. Also I find a heat pack can help.
