I am a 46 year old female with an extensive health history. After severe endometriosis, a complete hysterectomy, and 7 abdominal adhesion surgeries, I now add giant hemageomias to my list. If I do have the resection of my right lobe, 14cm, I am concerned about complications. My liver specialist has assured me that the surgery will not help my circulation issues or digestive issues which arose from my hysterectomy and later adhesion surgeries. In addition, I am being monitered for possible Lupus. As you can imagine, I am gun shy to jump into surgery for fear of creating more problems than solving them.
I guess I'm asking if any one out there experienced significant changes after their resection, either positive or negative, to help me make a decision regarding my possible resection.
Thanks from the patient who scheduled the resection and then chickened out!
