| Key Hole Liver Resection
Im having a liver resection in Dec. However mine seems to be a little different than the normal liver resection.
As my FNH is on the left lobe my surgeon said he will do it key hole and will make the cut at my bikini line. Only if my liver bleeds will he have to open me up quickly. He said he has done it once before and suceeded. I was just wondering if anyone else had something similiar done?
I feel a little left in the dark, with only a month to go I still don't have much info from my doctor. I had to ask them to email me so I had come sort of confirmation in writing, all the receptionist told me was a date and time. I have no idea how long I'll be in hospital, how long to recover or anything for that matter! I think I'm starting to worry a bit being this close to surgery and I still have no information.
