thanks for replying. went to docs today and he said i shouldn't be feeling like this after glandular fever. he says the pain in chest and back is muscle pain (i think it's not) and the feeling of something stuck in throat is anxiety (ha ha). i know my body and it's not either of those. i told him that every time my chest, ribs and back hurt i get this lump in my throat and i have glands that come up in my neck. i'll go back to a different doctor and see what happens. good luck with your doc. thanks.

i'll give it a try. i've tried zoton already which didn't help. it's annoying that docs don't sem all that helpful. srange how i got diagnosed with glandular fever with these symptoms. not exactly classic symptoms of glandular fever. how's your chest?

I have never heard of glandular fever and never been told that one yet!Well my chest/back has been pretty good last couple of days but im sure that will not last,I went to my usual 2 month check-up and i told the doc that i have same proplem this time she wrote me up an order to get an x-ray of thoracic spine and ribs she still insist a muscle thing i will go tommorow or the next day i havent gotton around to it i am sure it will show nothing,i would like a cat scan but insurance wont pay so just have to do other little tests till i get extra money. Also i have recently switched doctors this doc is not too bad she is trying to help a little but not that much, the other 2 docs i had before wont not want to do anything there diagnosis for all my problems were anxiety (breathing and lump in throat)and fibromyliga(pains in chest/back)spelled wrong .That was there explanation for those problems.I hope we both get to the bottom of this.

I had to look-up glandular fever to see what it was that you were talking about. Here in the U.S. it is referred to as mono. I have never had it, so I cannot be of any help to you... but just thought I would share the name of it here so that maybe others can help you out more. Good luck to both of you!!
