tobacco use and lung problems

tobacco use and lung problems

What does anyone know about the theraputic value of switching (short term) from smoking tobacco to smokeless tobacco in order to quite smoking?

The main therapudic value of switching from regular tobacco to smokeless tobacco is that if you got hooked on the smokeless stuff, you'll be more likely to develop mouth/throat cancer, than lung cancer, perhaps. Take my advice: give up the stupid, stupid cigarettes, before you ruin your health. I now have emphysema, lung nodules, and lung scarring; probably all from my smoking habit. It just ain't worth it...dump the tobacco! Good luck to you...Deb
