Re: respiratory infection???

I would suggest that you ask for stronger antibiotics and maybe a little longer course. Maybe you were on a 10 day prescription before and maybe 14 days would have been better. I know that with all of the upper respiratory infections I have had, Levaquin seems to be the one that works the best.
Good luck on feeling better.

Re: respiratory infection???

I take levequin for brochontis I have and this infection is making me tired. you sound like you have a chronic problem (walking pnemonia?)

go to medical doctor adn tell him what the problem is and have him or her check your lungs for gurgling sounds which is a sign of infection, are you coughing alot, that is usually a sign of lung infectin, if not maybe sinus infection such as candida? candida is usually the results of antibiotics, I know that I kept getting sinus infections and they kept giving me antibiotics (I think they were guessing) and it led to several years of me battling candida (fungus)

i used raw garlic several times a day, I ate yogurt by the ton and I kept up my vita / min supplementation. it took me 3 years to get over it enough to almost function. I would feel better than have a flare up of candida (any stress that could destroy beneficial bacteria in the gut) and eat more garlic and yogurt.

I say it took about 3 or 4 years to get over it completly and not have anymore flare ups.
