Right toncil is enlarged, tight thoat feeling too!
Hi everyone, I'm new here, actually I found this site awhile back and have refound it again.
I'm 46 yrs old. About 2 weeks ago my right toncil started looking inflamed and I noticed some white pus in it that I was able to wash out, I also have had green when blowing my nose for a few months, I have had sinus infections on and off for some in the past. A doctor once said I have some blockage that may some day need to be corrected. I have had that white stuff in the toncil before in the past and a doctor once said it looked a little inflamed and gave me antibiotics.
I went in to the doctor 3 days ago and my doctor looked and she just said it looks a little red and irritated and gave me a prescription for some AB.
Along with this, it feels like that lump in the throat feeling sometimes and tight just on that side of the throat. I noticed it doenst feel like that much when Im in bed or I should say before I get up in the morning. When I breath in it feels kinda like a little bit of a burning sensation on that side, hard to tell though, one of those hard to pinpoint things. Anyway Im feeling paranoid and scared about it. Any suggestions or opinions is appreciated..thanks...Dan

Have you been tested for strep-throat? I would suggest maybe a stronger antibiotic or a longer run of being on them. I had some issues last year with sinus and upper respiratory infections that would just not go away. A couple of courses of Levaquin helped me out alot.

No I wasn't tested recently for strep, although I have had that in the past, years ago, but when I have had it, I usually had quite a soar throat.
I noticed today after I had a sneeze attack my throat felt kind of swollen and my chest or lungs feel kind of tight.
