hi, i'll do my best to keep this as short as possible. My son has had breathing problems since he unexpectedly collapsed last year, this resulted in a 3wk stay in Itu, then a further five months in hospital as he had a tracheostomy fitted and due to his special needs found it hard to deal with, anyways since we have been home after he had a surgical de-cannulation he's breathing has not been right, first very breathless so he needs to use a wheelchair for all out door and now slightly less breathless looks good in himself but makes this wierd noise on an intake of breath which is getting louder and more frequent but showing no signs of disress, he's still under the Ent surgeon and i've recently sent him a video tape of this wierd noise, he's not come back to me yet but a friend reckons it's stridor? or croup? he had croup a lot as a baby but to me it's not sounding like that and he's not distressed, any advice i would be so greatful.
