Cough getting worse and giving me bad headache, help anyone???
Almost 2 months ago, me and my wife got both a bad case of the cold or flu that took about 3 weeks to completly go away for both of us.
Since then though, I have been continiously coughing on a daily basis to the point sometimes that I feel I'm choking, I always feel there is something stuck in my throat, and I cough so hard that several times a week, sometimes everyday, it gives me headache, like for each time I cough I feel it up to in my head. There was some times too that I had to apply some pressure on the top of my shoulder because I would get excrusiating pain with every cough and pressure seemed to help a tad.
I ain't gonna lie, I am a smoker and I am certain this is not helping my case at all... when I saw the doctor last week, I told her that the cough didn't go away and she examined me and said I had a bronchitis. She ordered a chest x-rays to see if it wasn't turning out into a pneumonia or something like that.
The coughing really bothers me in everything I do. And on bad days, laying down is almost out of question because I won't stop coughing at all then...
I know some of you are simply gonna tell me to stop smoking and I already know about that(having major problem quitting since a long time now) but I want to know what you guys think about the whole situation...
I mean I don't think coughing is suppose to hurt your head is it? and so on!
I am doign my best to try to improve my health and any advices are welcome! thank you!
