on my chest xray there were what appeared as about 4 small parallel white lines. There didn't appear to be any spots or nodules. I thought the Dr. said it appeared to be banding. what does the term banding mean. the nurse said she thought it was stranding from scaring. Has anyone heard of the terms banding or stranding?
Got the radiaolgy report and it says small amount of left lower lobe pneumonia
in the area of the white lines. could the lines be from pneumonia scarring?
