It sounds like you are experiencing some sort of airways dysfunction that limits your expiration rate/volume. Asthma could be a likely culprit. You should probably see your Doctor about it, or a pulmonologist depending on your health care insurance. There are lots of treatments for Asthma, including inhaled bronchodilators and steroids (and combinations). I've had a full Pulmonary Function Test for breathing trouble and was diagnosed with Asthma. I am now on both of the above types of medication and my rates have gone way up. I am 46, and before the treatments, I had the expiration rate/volume of a 60 year old. Now my numbers are in the range of a 30 year old consistently.
