Non Calcified Nodule?
I have a 9mm non calcified lung lesion. Is it worse to have a non calcified vs. calcified? What are some of the possible causes of a non calcified lung nodule? I have been also having fevers ( four in two months) coughing in the morning and some night sweats and extreme fatigue. My grandfather died of lung cancer at 50.

Have you been tested for Valley Fever? My sister lives in AZ and had similar symptoms about 6-7 years ago and had a CT scan which showed a nodule. After further testing, including a PET scan and prior to doing a needle biopsy, they determine the nodule had collapsed and they discovered she had valley fever. At the time we were very scared she had lung cancer based on her symptoms and history of smoking...
