coughing up blood in the morning

I am a 24-year-old Indian. My symptoms started as cough with phlegm production, fever in the evening hours, and cold without runny nose about 10-12 days ago. I consulted a physician. He told me that there was nothing wrong with my lungs and it was URI and prescribed me some antibiotics and a cough syrup. My symptoms of fever and cold improved, but the cough is still persisting. I see coughing up blood in the morning for once and no blood throughout the day, but my cough is still worrying me. I donated blood 20 days ago, has there been anything to do with this? Please suggest me what to do?
