Question Best Weather for COPD?

I was dx'ed 15 years ago with COPD and emphysema. I quit smoking and have been smoke free since then. I seem to experience a sensation of shortness of breath especially in cold dry weather. I don't like heat and humidity but I think I breath better under those conditions.
What kind of weather, (climate), is better for your breathing?
Keep moving, it makes it harder for the undertaker to catch you. Don

Re: Best Weather for COPD?

We are all so different...I have severe emphysema and breathe best in cold, dry weather. Some need more humidity. The perfect climate for us is said to be the coast of California. If you're thinking of relocating, I suggest you visit the area for several weeks before making a decision.

p.s. I can tell you high altitude is bad for lung problems.
