i am a 16 year old kid, who was fit an healthy, i been told nothing about my conditon apart from it was not progressive. In november 2000 i underwent a thoracotomy to remove the left lower lobe of my lung which was then resected, i'm still in the dark over why this has happend all they told me is focal emphesema an a bullae? anyone had these problems, anymore info needed let me know, cheers

I don't know anything about this, but they should give you more information about all of this-you have a right to know-there are probaly things also on the internet that you could find about it-keep me udpated please.

i know they should tell me more buit there is nothing else they can tell me, even more i recently got a copy of medical records to find out they wasn't telling me there is also an abnormality in more right lower lobe. I asol found my lung histology and slides had been taken to three closed meetings around yorkshire!!! But yet still no more info on the cause of this weired an distressing dissorder, everything i find on internet has no reference to it an them that do are written medically so therefore you can't understand them, thanks for the intrest
