| Producing phlegm but no idea whats wrong.
Over 2 months ago I got a flu/cold. After the sore throat and runny nose, I developed a cough. The cough lasted a few days and I produced a fair amount of phlegm. Its been over 7 weeks since the cough stopped but I am still producing phlegm. I thought it would eventually stop but it hasn't. I don't have any fever/high temperature, just producing phlegm. I only had to spit the phlegm out 12-14 times through out the day but it has no effect on my fitness.
2 weeks ago I started taking amoxil to see if that would reduce the amount of phlegm. At first it gave me a headache, so I took half at night, every day instead. It didn't change anything so I stopped, but the day after I stopped my right tonsil became sore and red. I started taking the amoxil again and the tonsil got back to normal within 3 days. However I'm still producing this phlegm in the same quantity as before. Most of the time it is thin and light yellow/white. I realised that whenever I wake up the phlegm is darker, and throughout the day it gets lighter. I also realised that whenever I am involved in any cardio activity the phlegm turns clear white.
My main concern is that ever since I started taking the amoxil, I started to feel things on my chest in different places every day. Some days I wouldn't feel anything. Its not pain, I just feel something there. Any idea what's wrong?
