| Ipf and nac
Has anyone with IPF used NAC? I have IPF and started taking NAC, which is supplement, about 2 weeks ago. I can't believe how much it has helped - I wish I had started it years ago. I'd read about it and knew about the clinical trial using it. I asked my pulm doc about it; that's when I found out it was a supplement I could buy at health food stores. She wrote a script for 600 mg 3x day. I add 5 mg prednisone, which works for me.
I've had IPF for 12 years and would love to hear from others with IPF!
