copd and weight loss
hi i was diagnosed with mild copd last year following tests last week it has now worsened to moderate thing is im losing a lot of weight almost 3 atone since last sept without dieting could having this copd be the cause has anyone else had the same sympton just a little concerned thanks in advance for help

Weight loss is common with people with copd, one factor is doen to the lack of food they eat ( my mom is very typical )

If your getting worse, have you seen your doctor or specialist about mendication or lung reabilitation courses?

yea have seen specialist only last week but i must be same as your mum i dont eat that much just feel full quickly i needed to lose weight but just a little worried as am now getting too thin but i feel ok just wasnt explained to me that copd can cause weight loss have looked all over the net but it doesnt list weight loss as a sympton so thank you for putting my mind at rest god bless hope your mum is ok thanks again x
