I have no cough, no shortness of breath, and when I breath normally it doesn't hurt or feel congested. Here's the thing, every time I breath deeply, my lungs (or chest) feel "congested" and sometimes there's pain. Its been like this for a week. Usually when I have this feeling, it comes with a cough and a cold. What is it????
This sounds like you might have a bout of bronchitis. I have chronic bronchitis and my lungs hurt and are congested when I breath in deep, particularly my lower lungs.
Being you have congestion, you might want to try Musinex (over the counter) to help expel the phlem. Drinking lots of water helps to thin out the mucus in your chest to be able to clear it somewhat.
I would go to a doctor since a week is quite some time to have this issue and you don't want it to get worse. Do you have any fever or fatigue? if so, you might have an infection in your lungs.
I suspected it was bronchitis. I was going to pick up some mucinex anyways but I should def get some now. I have been feeling tired, but not fatigue (meaning I just wanted to sleep, but my body was not weak) Question? Will I be getting a cough or more symptoms if it gets worse?
Btw, thanks for the reply.
