Question how long does it take to get over pneumonia?

diagnosed 2 weeks ago, following carbon monoxide poisoning.

How long does it take to get over it? not coughing much. Finally went to the ER and got a breathing treatment and doing better, also got an inhaler.

help any suggestions

It depends on type of pneumonia, viral or bacterial, but in general 4-8 weeks before you feel completely better and xray infiltrates have cleared up. Viral may take longer because there is no treatment like antibiotics for bacterial pneumonia.
