More Symptoms

This is me Tera again.

Well I am on a NSAID and it seems to be helping a little. I woke up this evening with a sore throat and muscle pain and a very obvious fever and chills. It feels like the flu but I know that is not that. I am still wondering where I should go with this...I have no health insurance and the bills are starting to pile up. ANY suggestions would be helpfull

Re: More Symptoms

Hi Tera!

I am so glad to hear that the NSAID's are helping a bit with your symptoms. What one are you on? The flu symptoms are awful, and very hard to explain to family members that can't understand what we are going through. It's like the worst ache of your life hey? And the fever thing is awful too.

I do understand about the financial stuff too.. I was in a really bad place financially for a long time when I got sick. I had NO income for 9 months and moved to my parents house for help. It ended up that I went into the hospital for a month, so it was a GOOD thing that I came home! After that, I was terrified. My parents were paying over 500 bucks a month for my medications etc. I just prayed that the best thing happen- and that I would hold on and wait to see. And you know what happened? I WON my long term disability dispute from my workplace!! I ended up receiving backpay for 10 months and then I am now covered for the rest of my illness period. What a blessing!! And I thought, what in the WORLD am I going to do with this money? Well, I figured out that the Lord wanted it used for me to go to England to get diagnosed! I left Canada and went over to see the world's best Rheumatologist and was diagnosed properly. And now financially I am doing ok! So things can work out, just have faith and it will all fall together in the Lord's time. That is what I learned! Take care and hang in there girl!
