MCTD is a mix of different autoimmune processes, Lupus is usually one of them. This is what I described in that earlier post, often Scleroderma, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus are the diagnosis'. It isn't that they don't know, they just want to cover all the bases. Did you get the most recent Rheumy's blood work back?

No, we haven't heard anything yet, He said
the office would call when it comes back but
I think we should call by thursday if we don't
hear anything. Thursday night we have a follow up visit
with the dermatologist to check out her granuloma
annulare rash which seems to have gone away.
He wants her to stop getting the gold injection
which is suppose to be for rheumatoid arthritis
he thinks she doesn't need this shot.
