college scholarships for lupus patients? - Lupus Message Board

Hello everyone.

I was curious if anyone was aware of any college scholarships for people with lupus or general chronic diseases? I am going to have to stay in college for an extra semester because of the flare I am currently enduring and am hoping to defray the costs.

Excellent question. I am the one with lupus, not my son but he is currently searching for various scholarships as he will be applying real soon. I will be unable to post the website, so I don't know how I'd get any information to you. And if there isn't a scholarship out there for lupus patients, there certainly should be. I'll see what I can find and get back to you.

I don't have any answer for you yet, but I emailed an organization and am waiting to hear back. Will post as soon as I hear something either way.
