| Re: Flax seed oil and Lupus
Sam,
I don't think so because it is oil naturally found in vegetables. But I would double check with a doctor to beon the safe side. I tried other omega three like fish oil, but flax seed oil is amazing. There are different types so look into it a bit. I take it by the teaspoonful (it tastes like motor oil mixed with drano) (not that i've ever tasted either, but it is very gross). However, you get used to it. If you don't like the taste you can buy capsules at any drug store. I take the capsules when traveling. They're much more expensive though, and you need to take a lot to get to two tablespoons a day. Anyways the first week or so after taking it, you'll get stomach aches and stuff, but after that it really makes you feel good all around. (It also can cause some weightloss in the beginning because it helps clean out your body and stuff, a good natural laxative.) But of course I would as always follow this info up with a good ole doctor! Good luck! It's called flax seed oil, any health food store would know about it.
