Need some help !!!!!!!!!freaking out - Lupus Message Board

Hi its been a while, I just started taking Topamax and I have been having some strange symptoms for about 3 days, had a seizure in early august they thinks its a combo of meds they did MRI, MRA, and EEG everything normal....I have APS, AIHA. still waiting for that lupus Dx. I feel really spacey I cant spell, type, its kind of like I felt right before I was Dx with hemolytic anemia...(I know I am not) a totally new symptom is my left hand aches really bad but but its not swollen. any suggestions. Thanks!

Dear lpears,

I haven't taken Topamax or had seizures---but I just checked Topamax out with the links this site provides. To get to it, click "Resources" (hyperlink above), then "MedLinePlus", then "Drug Information".

There's quite a bit of info there, incl. some rather surprising things like possible low blood sugar, problems with high-fat/low-carb diets, etc.
