 Cellcept side effect....
Hello all,
My doctor put me on Cellcept back in mid February and I’ve noticed small bumps on my lower legs and along with the bumps my legs itch; they itch so bad that I’m scratching myself raw… seriously I see blood, also I’m experiencing dry mouth. Is anyone out there experiencing these symptoms? Does it also cause chest pains? I had really bad chest pains for about a week I had an EKG and ECHO done thank God they came out normal; could this be from the Cellcept? Oh I forgot to mention I was taking a gram (500mg twice a day) now I’m taking 1.5 grams (1000mg in the morning and 500mg in the evening). Is this a bad side effect what should I do? I called my doctor and she told me to go back to 1 gram a day but I don’t want to have a flare up... HELP I need some advice what should I do? Before taking Cellcept I was on Neoral for 8 years with hardly any side effect, but she wanted me to get off it because of the kidney damage it could cause over the years. I wish I could go back on the Neoral. Does Cellcept cause a low sex drive? I’ve noticed I don’t crave it as much. Thanks for any response and thanks for listening…
