which lupus tests to get?
 

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well.

I saw a rheumatologist a few weeks back and had a bunch of tests, including an ANA antibody test. It was negative. I understand that there are other tests to get for lupus that are more specific like anti-ro, anti- sm? could someone tell me all the tests i should request so i could rule out lupus, because it seems like ANA is not enough, as certain people with SCLE usually test negative for it. I am not getting answers from any doctors or any tests, so i would like to do all that is necessary to see what is wrong with me/

Michelle, Look at the "sticky post" (permanent post) at the top of the Board called "Answers to Lupus test questions results". The moderators permitted a site address to be included in it. There you'll find info on tests. Bye for now, Vee
