I have not been diagnosed with lupus but feel that I do.
It's spring here in middle TN and great out side. On mon I was outside for a couple of hours and that night my knees were hurting and my ankles were hurting and my arms, neck, back, and scalp are red and itchy but when I scratch it feels just like I have a sunburn. Does this sound like a lupus thing?
I have hairloss, acne, joint pain and swelling, back ache, dry eyes, blurry vision, over the last 6 months my cheeks and nose have gotten redder, memory loss, muscle weekness. My ana was normal back in january and I went to a rheumatoligist cause my ra factor was high and my lymphocytes were low. I had fifth disease/parvo virus back in 2002. The Rheumy didn't say much of anything except basicly that I'm not sick just overweight. So to him being overweight was my only problem. I have also just been dx'ed with insulin resistance.
What should my next step be? When my symptoms are present is this when my ana would be high? Does anyone have any suggestions for a Dr in Nashville?
