I'm in my mid 50s and have lupus and osteoporosis . Since my lupus diagnosis, I've also broken 2 bones in simple falls - the outer bone in my left hand (tripped over Basset Hound) and a bone in my left elbow (running while were socks, so slipped on the kitchen floor). Prior to those events, I'd never broken any bone in my life. Whether the lupus had anything to do with it, I don't know as osteoporosis weakens bones. I don't think my healing was slowed either time.
Now I exercise by walking to combat the osteoporosis, so hope to keep my bones intact!
You didn't mention your age or if you might have osteoporosis or some other thing going on that makes your bones more fragile than usual.
