Hey guys
I have been under the weather pretty badly lately with sinus infection/bronchitis etc.. Anyhow, my primary Dr. prescribed Omnicef for me.....I made it through 5 doses before the side effects became too much (diareah,nausea,headache) and I had to be taken off of it. I am currently on Augmentin (1 dose) so far so good. My question is : Have any of you with Lupus been prescribed this particular antibiotic?, and if you have, did you have trouble on it, or did things go o.k. for you? I am wondering if this is one of those "not for people with Lupus drugs" or if my experience was just a fluke. I tried doing research on my own, but couldn't find any info on sle and this drug together, maybe because it is a newer drug? Thanks
