Red face High ANA titer count

I had trougle with active lupus for years but it seemed to go into remission about 8-10 years ago. During a routine blood work up they did an ANA test and it came back with a titre of 2645. I don't have any of the old Lupus symptoms and really have felt pretty good. My sed. rate was also normal. Does anyone have any ideas as to why the titre would be so high with a low sed. rate?

Re: High ANA titer count

I wish I could help you, but from what I've read just because all of your
blood work isn't high, etc., you can still suffer with Lupus, etc.

My ANA is 1/10240 and although my sed rate was high, it wasn't nearly
as high as my ANA.

This disease is confusing to try and figure out what every blood test
means, etc. I drove myself nuts at first looking things up but have
decided to leave that to the doctors.

Good luck.
