dry patches on skin

Hi all... has anyone experienced dry and itchy pathes on their face and neck.. I have been on plaquenil since May and have noticed increased patches on my skin. When I am stressed it comes out even more.. I am wondering if it is related to my connective tissue disease process or the plaquenil???? I have an appt with my Rheumi in a few weeks and I plan on asking her, however, I was wondering if anyone has experiences this? It gets annoying and I really don't want to stop my meds.... Janmar
