| Malar rash
I am understanding that the Malar rash is something that comes and goes for most people. Also the same with the discoid rash (circular rash). Do some people have the rash stay for long periods?
My malar rash is always there, just gets brighter when exposed to any sun (even driving to work). The other rash (circular) is on the top of my foot, and so not exposed to sun very much - but has been there for at least 2 years. Its also exactly the same as a rash I had as a young kid. I've pointed the round rash out to at least 5 different doctors and not one has ever said what it was - one told me its a bruise. They all just shrug their shoulders.
So, I see my primary in 2 weeks, I'll be asking for a referral to a dermy for a biopsy. In the meantime, I wanted to know if for some the rash stays.
