Hi Bonnie and welcome to this board. Have you been dx with Lupus? Not an expert but from reading on this threads I've learned that being in the sun even for a small period of time can cause you to get face or body rashes which could turn pretty painfull and also on some people it causes painful blisters. I think that you should reconsider taking some kind of medication for your symptoms, from what you are saying it sounds like you are in alot of pain, what r ur symptoms? I'm sure you will get more responses from the other lupies here that will answer your questions better. Take care and get well soon
