Hi all! I don't post much...but I am always on the boards reading all of the great information.
I'm 34 years old and was diagnosed with lupus last year. I have been taking plaquenil twice a day since then. I just came back from my eye doctor and am being referred to an Opthamologist to rule out glaucoma. I should also say that my pressures have been gradually climbing over the years. Yikes!!
I feel I'm a bit too young for this and I don't have any of the risk factors involved. Do you think it could be related to lupus? I know that taking Plaquenil increases your risk for retinopathy (not glaucoma) with high doses. Any help is appreciated!
