I have felt so bad for at least 1 1/2 years. I know I was in a bad flare and had a round of Prednisone, felt better but not right. I still had fatigue, tingling hands, heart palpatations, and very bad burning mouth and tongue. My doctor, not my rheumy, did a B12 check and it was around 140. I've had 6 B12 shots as of now and feeling a lot better. I still have a little burning on the end of my tongue, but that could be part of the Sjogrens too. I am just so glad to have a LITTLE energy.
Re: Low B12
It seems as though doctors are paying more attention and checking their patients B12 & Vit D. Glad to hear the injections helped!
