Blood tests are only one way to Dx lupus. I didn't get positive blood results until I suffered from Lupus for 10 years or more. I had several criteria, but, the blood work didnt show the information. However, I did have other blood work that was abnormal. Remember, it's not important whether you have a Diagnosis for Lupus or whatever or not. What is important is that your symptoms are treated properly. They can say in your charts "Suspected Lupus or SLE", but, as long as you are on the right course of treatment... a dx may come later. Lupus is like that... sometimes others won't get a dx for 15 years or more.
