changability of my tests
I was diagnosed with Lupus 14 years ago and had the symptoms for another 14 before that and in and out of the hospital yearly.
My diagnostic tests showed positive ANA with a Speckled pattern. Now 14 years and many recheck later, I still have the postive ANA-EIA, but now I show a negative ANA-IFA...what is the reason for that after all these years? Does that mean that I no longer have Lupus? Is it something different after all? They also say I have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. HELP!!! I'm confused and possibly misdiagnosed, any insight what so ever would be appreciated. Another Lupus patient has sent me a sight that explains what the tests are and I will read it. Can anyone add any possibi;lities or similar experiences?
