Well i went to the doctor on 7-30-02 and he told me that i have fibromyalgia. I was just letting you guys know since you helped me when i did not know when i posted should i be worried. Thanks for all of the support through that now that i know what i have i can try and live with it since it is better to know than to not know. Thank you
I am ok i guess i just wish my husband would except it and be supportive. I had the worst night last night and i am hurting really bad this morning. I hope that what i am taking works cause right now it is not.
My friend, who also has fibro, swears by getting regular massages. She goes to a school of massage - so it's fairly inexpensive. My doctor said he'd prescribe me to have them, but I'm not a fan of massages by strangers... Then again, you could put hubby to work.
Why don't you take a look at the arthritis.org website - they have a ton of brochures - don't recall if they have anything about spouses and fibro. I'm sure there is a similar separate fibro foundation too, but they won't have the resources that the Arthritis Foundation's site.
I'm sorry you're struggling both physically and emotionally. Please look for support - it's important to your care.
