Hi! My name is Leslie and I have recently been diagnosed with SLE. So far I have not had any organ involvement, just mainly fatigue and muscle soreness. I have been on Plaquenil for approx. 6 months and the fatigue has gotten MUCH better. I have noticed that I am bruising terribly though. I am on a daily low dose aspirin for blood clotting along with the Plaquenil. Wonder if that has anything to do with the bruising. Has anyone ever experienced that?

Well, I just wanted to introduce myself and to say that I have been following your messages over the last few months and have found alot of valuable information! Thanks! I hope to "chat" with you all very soon! Let's all try to make it a happy day!!

I just joined this message board, but was diagnosed with Lupus in 1997. I'm so glad to hear that Plaq. has helped you. I tried it and nothing, I mean nothing, helped with the fatigue. My only symptoms still are joint swelling and extreme fatigue. I don't usually have a lot of pain with my swelling, but I also have a high pain tollerance. But I have not tollerance to fatigue. Hope you are still feeling fine.
