Hey, just a quick question (well, not really). I have sjogrens and lately I have had a redness on my cheeks underneath both eyes. Sometimes it burns a little bit and gets irritated (but usually when I use my eyedrops). I always thought that it was just because I am using so many eyedrops that they are irritating my cheeks. For the past few weeks my cheeks have been fairly red and a little blotchy. I showed it to my ophthalmologist, and he said it is a small possiblity that it is from the eyedrops, but he doesn't think so. I saw a dermatologist today and she said I have a little bit of rosacea. She gave me a cream for it. But now I am worried that maybe the redness has something to do with the sjogrens, or possibly even lupus. That's what my ophthalmologist said.

I have to make an appointment with my rheumy, but in the mean time, have any of you guys heard of sjogrens causing redness on the cheeks under the eyes? I know lupus can do that, but so far I have tested negative for that.... Anybody have any ideas??
