There are alot of things to consider. One thing would be whether or not your Lupus has a possible overlap with another auto-immune disease. When your ANA was tested what was the pattern, Homogenous, Nucleolar or speckled ?
It is also not unusual for Lupies to develop Carpal Tunnel, an inflamed muscle can impinge nerves in the hands arms muscles thigh or anywhere, if this is happening when cold or under stress it can be Reynauds. Had it all during a four year acute flare.
In any case more testing is required. Please don't neglect to follow-up with a caring Rheumie/Neuro.
